[After the chaos that was the world they left behind, it's really nice to have a sort of routine going, as loose as it is. Luna may come back to the dorm late (ha, always), but Mal's figured out the approximate time to be ready and waiting for him. He's always been eager to see his return just to know that he's safe, but now that their relationship has become something (platonically!!) physical, he's been looking forward to the evenings more and more.
He perks up when he hears the door, snapping shut the book in his hands (yet another field guide to supernatural entities). He's here! It's time for the best part of the day, that makes everything else worth it!
